Overview

OverSite is an AI copilot for field workers. We believe smart glasses are the future of hands-free work — and construction is where they can make the biggest impact first.

Site managers wear Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses and talk to a real-time AI (Gemini Live) that sees through the camera. Walk a job site, flag issues by voice, and the system automatically documents everything — photos, transcripts, flagged problems — and pushes actions to your existing tools (MS Planner, Excel, Slack).

The result: hours of manual documentation and inspection compressed into a single walkthrough.

Why Construction

Construction managers spend a disproportionate amount of time on paperwork — site reports, inspection logs, issue tracking. Most of this information originates on-site but gets recorded later, at a desk, from memory. OverSite captures it in real time, hands-free, while you're actually looking at the problem.

How It Works

1. Walk & Talk — Wear smart glasses on your site walkthrough. Speak naturally: "flag this crack in the foundation", "what material is that?"
2. AI Sees & Understands — Gemini Live processes your voice and camera feed simultaneously, identifying issues and answering questions in real time.
3. Automatic Documentation — Every flagged issue is captured with a photo, transcript, and timestamp. A structured report is generated at the end of the walkthrough.
4. Action Delegation — A background agent pushes tasks to your digital platforms — creating Planner tasks, updating spreadsheets, notifying teams on Slack.

My Role

Part of the tech team — working on the system architecture, real-time AI integration, and the web dashboard for observability and reporting.
